prepared for this surgery. Normally, preparation process begins three weeks
before the actual surgery. Here is what you need to do:
Stop Taking Medicines and Supplements
You are advisable to stop taking some medication,
supplements and vitamins three weeks before your surgery. Actually, there are
certain medications that make you bleed during surgery; it would be indeed
risky. You need to avoid stop taking aspirin, Coumadin, Advil, Aleve and
similar kinds of medicines. It’s good to know that intake of Vitamin E and
supplements such as Ginko biloba, fish oil, garlic, Echinacea and anti-oxidants
may also cause bleeding. However, you can still take Tylenol or acetaminophen.
Stop Drinking Alcohol
It’s always advisable to stop taking nicotine and drinking
alcohol one week before your surgery. In addition, you need to protect your
scalp from sun as much as you can. There shouldn’t be sunburn condition at all.
Avoid Strenuous Exercise
You should refrain from all kinds of strenuous exercise, which

tell your surgeon about it. He might not stop you from taking them in normal
