How to Prepare for Hair Transplant in Dubai?



The people who have decided to undergo through Hair Transplantation in Dubai must have complete idea how to get prepared for this surgery. Normally, preparation process begins three weeks before the actual surgery. Here is what you need to do:


Stop Taking Medicines and Supplements

You are advisable to stop taking some medication, supplements and vitamins three weeks before your surgery. Actually, there are certain medications that make you bleed during surgery; it would be indeed risky. You need to avoid stop taking aspirin, Coumadin, Advil, Aleve and similar kinds of medicines. It’s good to know that intake of Vitamin E and supplements such as Ginko biloba, fish oil, garlic, Echinacea and anti-oxidants may also cause bleeding. However, you can still take Tylenol or acetaminophen.

Stop Drinking Alcohol

It’s always advisable to stop taking nicotine and drinking alcohol one week before your surgery. In addition, you need to protect your scalp from sun as much as you can. There shouldn’t be sunburn condition at all.

Avoid Strenuous Exercise

You should refrain from all kinds of strenuous exercise, which put pressure on your scalp or tighten it, three days before the surgery. If you do such exercise then there are chances of bleeding during this surgical procedure.

Don’t Avoid Daily Medication

If you are taking some daily medications then you should tell your surgeon about it. He might not stop you from taking them in normal cases.

Take Pre-Surgery Medication

You will be given three different medicines before the start of Hair Transplant in Dubai. The basic purpose of these medicines is to prevent discomfort and swelling.

You shouldn’t come for surgery with empty stomach. Take a light breakfast.
